All About the Troop & Troop Leadership

Vision

“Troop 215 is a boy lead organization.  We believe that Scouting should emphasize outdoor activities which are fun and rewarding. These activities will be designed to improve our technical skills, leadership ability, and spiritual understanding

Boy Scouting is a “family participation” activity.  All members of the family are welcome at all Troop and Patrol Meetings.  Boy Scouting is not just another thing for your son to do.  It is a value oriented learning program with specific aims.  Those aims are good character, citizenship, moral responsibility and physical / mental fitness.  We reach these aims by following methods that are tried and true as outlined by the Boy Scouts of America. 

Boy Scout Troop 215 Goals:

  • Development of the boys in the Troop following the guidelines set forth by the Boy Scouts of America 

  • Individual and family growth  

  • Community service through various projects  

  • Growth of the Troop – Adults and Boy Scouts

  • Support the mission of our sponsor: First Presbyterian Church of Anderson, SC
